For my USC KID, I had applied for inland PR and was told by the border agent at the border ( not inside )to apply for visitor record.
Now , another day, i.e. 01/10/2026, I went to the border to apply for visitor record with all the relevant documents - however, this time inside the border the agent and her supervisor both told me that since last few months or so they are no more providing visitor record at the border since they have stopped flagpooling.
However, this is contradiction to the official information that I inferred online, I am not asking for a change of status just a visitor record.
Also, I was told 2 times at the border that I can do it at the border
Can anyone advise, recently if they were successfully able to get a visitor record at the border for USC / USC Kids.
