Hello,

I almost did not get to get into Canada, and the officer gave me a visitor record for 4 days only, I really want to stay more. Can you please tell me the options?

What happens if I miss the deadline? Will I get arrested?

If you were only given four days, you should really leave Canada at the end of those four days. You can apply for an extension, but it will most likely be refused.

If you remain in Canada for longer than the four days without applying for an extension, you will be in Canada illegally / without status. It's possible CBSA may chose to remove you. Remaining in Canada illegally is a bad idea if you have future plans in Canada and plan to either visit or work her in the future.

How can I extend the permit?
Given your first post from http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/live-in-caregiver-and-pregnant-t433921.0.html;msg5300014#msg5300014 it's not surprising that you had problems entering. You say you have a contract but do you have a work permit?

I don't believe the OP has an approved work permit yet.

I would personally forget about extending the visitor visa and leave Canada after four days. Failing to do so could very well put the work permit approval in jeopardy as well.

But not my life...

I left the live in thing aside, I wasn't going to do that to a family. I just wanted to stay here a week more that's it

Looks like CBSA didn't believe you would actually leave. Wouldn't be surprised if you are flagged in the system.

What does flagged means?
That's when they double check you at every port of entry. They will be aware of your previous immigration history.

I wouldn't do it if you want to return in the future. I would leave in four days as told.

If you have no plans to return to Canada in the future, then go ahead and overstay.

Hello!

I did get out as specified, but I am planning on returning in the month of October, for about a month, I want to spend my birthday in Canada, do you think I will have problems in inmigration again? I'll have my return ticket, and my travel plans, but I am basically going just to rest. :D

difficult to say given your previous entry history will be on the system and you will likely get asked the same questions on reasons for seeking entry to Canada and how you plan to support self whilst in Canada resting

So, as long as I have all the information, where I am going to be staying and the proof of financial means? That will be okay?
I mean I did go out when requested and even delivered the permit to inmigration.

Those actions will most likely assist CBSA in making an informed decision on your next entry. They seem to like it when people follow the rules.
