Hi,

My now boyfriend (US PR) was given a visitor record that includes the regular stipulations (i.e. no work, no school, must leave by...) however it also says: "Must furnish proof of compliance on XX, 2014"

We would like to now apply for an extension. I called the cic call centre and one rep advised that he could just apply for an extension and be given implied status. Has anyone ever had this condition? Is it normal?
