I Live in USA with my husband and am originally from Brazil.
We're going to visit my family back in Brazil in December and we booked flights leaving from Canada.
My husband is American so has no problem entering Canada, I haven't got my green card yet, I have my combo card tho, that allows me to travel outside of US and to work as well.
We've been trying to figure out a solution to apply for a Visa seeing as I cant have an ETA cause I dont have a valid USA visa.
Here are some options that we found:
- I could fly into Canada less than 48 hours before my flight to Brazil and get a transit Visa, but on the way back, I'd can't really afford another flight and would leave the country by car, does anybody know if that could be a problem? Oh, and there's the fact that the flights aren't connexions, they would be bought separately.
- I could apply for a visitor Visa and drive to Canada, on the way back, I'd arrive by air.
The problem: I don't have an invitation letter.
Would I still have chances to get my Visa approved without an invitation letter?
