Hi, recently I travelled to Vancouver, canada. I m holding 10yrs visitor visa(2026). In Vancouver airport they denied my reason& issued visitor record document for 10days to stay in Canada. Also this is my second entry. When leaving I have to return the document in airport. Now I came to my country. Is ther any problem for my next visit. Any problem for visitor visa that I'm Holding 10yrs. But I asked in immigration office, they said no problem to visit again, but every time u will be issued letter for ur stay.i m planning to apply PR. It will affect in that?

Immigration officials at the port of entry can either deny entry to a traveler or limit his/her stay if they believe that someone is not likely to obey the conditions attached to the TRV.

Also, your 10-years visa only allows you to travel to/remain in Canada for 6 months at a time (if an extension is not sought). How long you are actually allowed to remain will depend on the officer you meet at the port of entry.

When did you visit the first time?
How long did you stay for your first visit?
What was the purpose of your first and second visits?
When do you intend to visit for the third time?

Hi,
Thanks for reply. My first visit on November (10days) . Then I travelled on Feb, both ar visit. Also I holding USA, UK visas. My next visit on after 3month. Becoz of visitor document ,my 10yrs visa will affect or not. Really I m worried. Or problem with only Vancouver, . Becoz my friends told I can travel to Toronto without any problems. Only Vancouver immigration holds ur record. Actually they thought I m going to work in Vancouver. That's the problem.

It does not matter that you have a 10-year TRV. Nor does it matter that you have valid US and UK visas.

The officer had serious concerns that you are coming to (do unauthorized/illegal) work in Canada. That's why he limited your stay to 10 days even though you had stayed for only 10 days on your previous visit. This situation does not happen often.

IMO, you must defer your next visit. And, if you visit then make sure you look like a visitor/tourist and travel like one.

Your friends are wrong. Immigration records can be accessed at any port of entry. The fact that your second visit was limited to 10 days can be accessed by any immigration officer at any port of entry (Vancouver, Toronto or any other one)
