Visito Visa for PR applicant

Hi,
Need to visit Canada for a short duration on visitor Visa, but PR application is also in pool.
Are their chances of rejection of visitor visa in such case.
Do we need to mention about the PR application during the Visa application?

I had an Express Entry app nearing completion when I applied for a TRV. Got the passport requests two weeks apart.

You got passport request two weeks after applying for visitor Visa?

I got PR PPR two weeks after TRV PPR.

Wow that's good news. According to what I was told just now. Visitor Visa during process of spousal sponsorship is high rejection. Huge red flag due to the applicants not returning even though trying to sponsor.*slap forehead*

Well...yeah, spousal sponsorship is different from Express Entry.
