My brother trv was refuse yesterday. Reasons were *travel history * Not enough funds and asset. Can we reapply right away. Our dad is 74 year old wheel chair bound and he is living with my brother. Is that something to prove that he will go back home after his 2 weeks visit?

@ miss wellington

You can re-apply anytime i.e. as soon as you are able to address the reasons for refusal

If your dad is dependent on your brother then do submit medical reports/doctor's letter/proofs that they reside together.... your brother must prove he has adequate finances to fund his visit (typically CAD 1000 per week + airfare + surplus)

Also having property, employment/business, other financial investments, more family members in your home country, etc will help to prove that he will go back home

He must say who will temporarily look after your dad when he is away

All the best :)

Thank you for your quick response. Would it be a better chance if he apply for a visitor visa for dad at the same time with his?both of them coming to visit me and my family

It would depend on the individual and collective ties to your home country that your brother/dad are able to demonstrate

Hello Bryanna,
pls clarify me on this hints u pointed out here.

1. Do you have low outstandings on your credit cards?
2. Does your finances cover the Itinerary expense estimates + airfare, etc
3. Submit your husband's passport copy (if he has one) + proof of his legal practice

as for my finances, my bank statement shows all my available fund for this trip, itinerary expenses, airfare, shopping etc.

how much CAD do u think i should fund my account with for this trip for Embassy to approve it? give me a rough estimate.

My husband doesn't have any passport at the moment.

when u say proof of his legal practice, like what document can serve that purpose?

actually i wanted to just submit the letter he'll write to approve my vacation with his office letter headed paper. can that serve as a proof of his legal practice?

then finally:

4. Please attach evidence that shows you/your husband/kids live at the same address.... for eg: government documents or household registry, etc

In my country we do not have such documents, what else do i need to provide for this?

thanks
