Visiting Canada with Indian Passport expiring less than 6 months - urgent help

Hello,

I am from India with Indian passport working in Canada, currently in India for vacation , when we renter Canada my daughter's passport will have less than 6 months to expiry - will there be any issues in such case during entry ?

Applying for passport renewal in India is becoming tricky- so thinking of going to Canada and apply for renewal.

No, but she will only be admitted to the expiry date of her passport.

Renew her passport and ask the CIC office if they can transfer the visa to her new passport.

Keep in mind all starting in Feb 2014 all visitors visa applications are eligible for a ten year multiple entry visa. The visa is only valid up to the passport expiry date.
