Visiting Canada with a baby less than 6 months

Hi guys,
I intend to travel to Canada along with my wife and our new born baby who is just 6 month old.
My question is this -
1stly, Will the baby need to have its own international passport, or the baby's visa will be issued on any of the parents passport.

2ndly, what are the chances of securing a visa, with the involvement of a baby.

Please I would appreciate you guys experience advice.

1. Own passport.
2. If the parents are issued TRV, then the child will be as well. No guarantees TRV will be issued for a whole family.
