How long will he be able to stay in Canada with this entry?

At airport in Vancouver the immigration officer didn't give any seal for staying time.

If there's no handwritten date in his passport then he can stay for up to 6 months without applying for an extension. Hopefully, his passport is valid until the date he leaves Canada

But she said visa expire date is 30 august ? It means once we enter in canada If CBSA office didnot give us specific time then we can live there till 6 month with valid passport??

The expiry date printed on the TRV is only for travel to Canada. Someone can continue to stay beyond this expiry date if allowed by the officer at the POE (assuming they have a valid passport + no handwritten date in the passport)

You mean it will not to be overstay like other visas ??
