VISIT VISA- how much money should i have in my account? advise me pls!

My family is planning by month of May visiting my brother in Canada.
When i suppose to submit my application for visit visa and how much should i supposed to have in my account?
(I have only CAD 6000 and my husband has CAD 4000) is this enough for 3 weeks?
My brother will accommodate us in their house, transportation and tour.

Hi,

It depends on your planned itinerary + you must have adequate finances to pay for your airfare/other expenses during your visit.

The source of all finances shown must be your own/owned jointly with your husband.... do include an explanation if there are any large, last-minute deposits
