Visit to USA ?

Hi,

I received my permanent residence card last year and now living in Toronto, Canada. I am wondering if I can cross to USA border via New York with my permanent residence card along with Pakistani passport? Does it allow it? I will go with my husband who has Canadian passport and probably stay in US like 1 or 2 days...

Please let me know if you have any similar experiences.

I think you still need a visa in order to travel to the USA (unless you have a nexus card) and you could return to Canada by showing your PR card.

You need a US visitors visa to visit the US. Unfortunately you can't enter on your PR card and passport alone.
