Hi,

I'm currently applying online for a visitor visa in order to conduct business (do business meetings). I got all the standard documents that are required for any visitor visa. But when I applied online I can't seem to find on my personal checklist the section for "Proof of Means of Financial Support" that everyone is talking about.

Is it normal that I don't have that section? Has it happened to anyone here?

Thanks for all the help :)

That is for sure not normal... unless you are applying for a transit visa.... but as it is not the case it si quite odd.

Are you sure you answered the wizard correctly? Even one question not answered correctly can give you a different checklist.

I've checked the wizard questionary and I think the answers are correct (see below what I answered). Could it be that it is only necessary a letter from the company which I'm representing since all expenses are covered by them?

What would you like to do in Canada? Visit

How long are you planning to stay in Canada? Temporarily - less than 6 months

What is the main purpose of your visit? To conduct business

What type of business will you be conducting in Canada?
I want to conduct international business activities in Canada, but will not enter the Canadian labour market.

That letter will be put under "proof of financial support".

Well if you answered correctly and it does not appear, then that should be OK.

Ok, thanks, hope it works with the letters.

(I'm looking for the [Good] button/link to say thanks but I can't seem to find it)
