Hi everyone

my in laws have a visitor visa for 5 yrs. my mother in law is very unpredictable. right after we got married 5 yrs ago, she told my husband everything is a fraud!!!! teared apart my marriage certificate and made my husband not see or talk to me for months. it took a year for us to get everything sorted again ( it was very very hard and sad and brutal)
my husband applied for their visa, they got it and came to canada for 6 months last year!!! the whole time she refused to see me and would repeat to my husband: “ you are single, we can find you a beautiful girl!!!!” it was hell for me. i got so frustrated and sad to a point that i developed thryroidistis. this woman is very unstable!!
now after a year we have got stuff under control, we are welcoming our first child in a few weeks, thanks to COVID they could not come this summer.
Now she is pretending to be my friend and wants to visit us asap. i am a canadian citizen and really don’t feel safe with her around. is there a way i can stop her entry to canada, my country, my home!
thank you for your replies.

You can’t cancel her visitor visa, if it already approved.
thank you for your reply.
she even got in a fight with the airbnb she was living at. Can i somehow advise the console about her behaviour? anything i can do to not allow her near my family?

No, behavioural issues will not cancel a visa. If she comes to your home and threatens you then call police.

I'm sorry for your experience.

Only IRCC can cancel her visa or stop her from entering Canada. IRCC will not cancel the visa or stop her from entering Canada based on an argument at an airbnb. The reasons would have to be far more serious such as criminal charges filed with police.

In terms of not allowing her near your family, that is something you and your husband would need to do. There is no authority that will do this for you.
