After waiting 3 years and a half, I finally got the maple leaf visa. I waited 11 months after the medicals living all the torture that every body in this forum has lived . I just have one month to travel to CANADA before my medicals finish on 05/09/2010, so I booked through the Emirates airlines next Monday (26/07/2010). Wish me an exciting and interesting landing experience with my family. I wish the best for those who are still waiting......never give up ....always fight for your dream. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.

congrats man; what fare you got from emirates ? is it for return? Just advice you can save money by using expedia.com and check British airways and KLM the cost is about 1200 USD for return economy and 1 stop at london (BA) or Amsterdam (KLM)

Dear fasiddiqui

I just have one month. I am not familiar with the airline fares here in the UAE. So I booked the first flight to Toronto through Emirates Airlines. It's a direct flight. I booked one return ticket for myself at ( 6875) Dirhams. and 3 one-way tickets for my wife and two kids because the will stay in Canada permanently. Actually, when I got the visa, I didn’t think of money. We want to travel before the deadline of the medicals. My wife and the kids will stay with my wife’s sister there in Toronto. I hope everything will be alright.
