hi there,
I was made to understand that when a visa is issued at an embassy, there is always a validity on the visa, i.e , the duration of time within which the visa must be used,....now my question is this

1, what happens if i didnt travel within the validity period?
2, Usually, what is the validity range?, i mean how long does it last ? 1month, 2 or 3 ?

3, I have been hearing super visa, super visa...please what does it mean, is the same regular known visas or a new type of visa?

1. Nothing happens
2. It can be anything. Usually shorter for single entry visas and longer for multiple entry visas. My dad was once given 2 months single entry.
3. Super visa is only for Parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens and permanent residents. As of December 1, 2011, you may be eligible to apply for the Parent and Grandparent Super Visa and enjoy visiting your family in Canada for up to two years without the need to renew your status.
