visa stamp on passport

Hi,
I am on post graduate work permit for 3 years but the stamp visa on my passport is already expired. Now I want to apply for US tourist visa and I was wandering whether stamp visa is mandatory for US application or not?
If anyone have any idea please respond as soon as possible.

Yes you need the Canadian visa stamp otherwise US can reject your visa. Work permit is only a status and if you want to visit US then you need the work visa to come back to Canada. Otherwise the us embassy will think that you don’t want to return to Canada and stay in us as illegal

Hiii I just want to know that like I extended my visa and I got extended visa , study permit.. but I want to visit my country because of some family problem. My visa stamp will get expire on 30 January 2021 . I will return in Canada 18 January . Can I visit or not ????
