Please let me know whether I will be requiring a visit visa for entering into Malaysia (KL)? Can I get this visa on arrival?

It will depend on your citizenship contact the Malaysian consulate closest to you.

The fact that you have permanent residence in Canada has nothing to do with your citizenship or with Malaysia.
In other words you get no privilege being a permanent resident in Canada for the outside world.
