Hi,
I am Canadian and i will be giving birth around the end of October. My husband who’s living in Germany as a refugee with permanent residency would like to be here for the birth of our child. We are legally married and didn’t start the sponsorship process yet. Would we automatically be denied for this request?

Unfortunately there is a high chance he will be denied due to his refugee status. However you can certainly try.
