I applied for a student visa for my recency of flying hours in CANADA in march and my Visa was rejected in about two weeks (27 march) with the reason that my purpose of visit was not clear! My duration of visit was not more than a month.

I already have studied in USA and UK before and my visas have never been rejected.

My flying was done in states but i wanted to do my recency in Canada so that i can get another country's flying license.

Moreover, the school through which i am going says that my visa cannot be applied till 45 days after rejection? Is that the case?

And what should i keep in mind applying next time, regarding purpose of visit. Is there specific documents required for that? If yes than what?

Please advice ASAP!

Hi akik 2K

I'm assuming you did not submit some crucial documents from the school which you were going to attend in Canada. eg- letter of acceptance

Also did you mention that you wanted to do your recency in Canada so that you could get another country's flying license ?

The school said they'll take care of the application ( not to mention they wanted like a 20k for that and that is another reason why i am so angry that even after paying money to them i think they messed up), and they had a covering letter......

Dear Sir,

I am a pilot and have done my Commercial Pilot Training (CPL) from Florida
Flight Training Center, Venice, FL., USA. I now need o do my recency and update my flying hours. For The
purpose I have been accepted at BLUEBIRD FLIGHT ACADEMY, London, ON, Canada. The said training is
to commence on 10th March, 2011 and is of two months duration. The necessary Acceptance Letter to
this effect is attached herewith.

I am enclosing herewith my passport, visa application duly completed and other necessary documents
pertaining to my academics and financial support for your reference and consideration.

May I request you to kindly grant me the necessary visa to travel to Canada and update my flying hours
and do the Recency training program.

Thanking you,

Yours sincerely,

SO any problems with this letter??

Also, 45 days to re-apply? is it true?
