Visa Question...

Hi everyone,

When my wife receives her Visa, is there a certain amount of time she needs to arrive to Canada? The reason I am asking is because she needs to notify her job ahead of time in her country.

Yes..usually the visa expires when he medicals expire..and medicals are valid for one yr.

My wife just got her medical done. I am planning to send in the whole package at the end of the month. I just check the update on the website and it says for her country, it would take approx. 8months to process... what if the process extends and her medical is just about to expire?

They may ask you do re-do the medical.

If the medicals expire by the time they are ready to issue the visa, they would ask her to re-do the medicals visa would be valid until the expiration on her second medicals..suppose they issue the visa in 8 mnths...then she would hv another 4 mnths.
