Yes, this is misrepresentation. You have to tell them about prior rejections, and simply forgetting isn't a good reason to not tell them.

You have now contacted them and attempted to correct your mistake - that's a good thing. But the ultimate decision now rests with the officer.

Three possibilities exist:

1. You may be granted a visa
2. You may be denied, but not banned
3. You may be banned for five years.

The ban is less likely if you quickly got in touch and told them you made a mistake.

Nothing you can do but wait.

Would they really reject even though I have a valid study permit and I was studying in Canada for 3 years. I only applied for a returning student visa just to be able to enter Canada again because the one I had before was expired

Technically, yes, they can since you committed misrepresentation. They can even ban you for five years.

Practically, I doubt that they will ban you, and I also think you'll get the visa. If you have a clean immigration record and you contacted them really quickly, you should be OK.

But yes, you have given them the chance to deny and/or ban you by not telling them about your prior rejection. If the officer reviewing your file decides to follow the letter of the law very strictly.. nothing you can do.

How quickly did you contact them after submitting the application?

I didn’t yet I just noticed that today and Iam worried about contacting them idk what to do

Contact them immediately. If you don't that looks worse. One of the first things they will check for is your previous immigration history with Canada, and a prior denial will obviously jump out at them.

When did you submit the application?

i send the application May 9th

You have two options

1. Do nothing and hope they ignore your mistake.
2. Email them immediately informing them of your mistake.

Either way, you risk a denial and/or ban. However, (2) shows that you weren't trying to misrepresent, whereas if you do nothing, you are clearly misrepresenting. You may still get the visa if the officer decides to ignore it and be nice, you may not. Impossible to say.

Up to you. Personally I would inform them and say that it was an honest mistake and you are trying to correct the mistake.

one thing i forgot to mention when i applied i applied through and office and when i was talking to them they told me it doesn't matter if u didn't mention it

If you are saying you went through an agent (your post is not clear), sack the agent immediately.
