Visa process time (pakistani students only)

Anyone who's got a decision on visa recently, how long is it taking to receive response now a days? According to cic its 8 weeks for Pakistanis. But some people get response early, and some get them late. therefore, wanted to know the timeline for majority of applicants?

Every application time is different and time given is just an estimate. Can be much shorter or much longer.

Any update on anyone's visa process???
I have heard that applications from Pakistan are dealt in Visa office of Abu Dhabi, UAE. Do they send any letters on Sunday as their weekend is on Friday and Saturday. Anyone with any information about that..

I got my medical request on a Sunday (2 weeks ago). So I am sure they send out updates on Sunday as well since that's a working day for them.
