Dear fellow friends

Normally for what duration do you get the authorization and student visa?

1. Is it exactly the same period which is mentioned in your acceptence letter from university? or it could be more or less? For example if the acceptence letter says the program I am enrolled, for that the duration is 1 year, does it mean you get student authorization and visa exactly for 1 year period? I wonder in that case how can you attend graduation ceremony, if your permit expires the day you graduate?

2. We need 2 things, student authorization permit and entry visa. Are the both issued matching exactly the same period?

3.If I get admission in 1 years masters program, but I cant finish within one year and require one additional semester, how to manage this?

Please be kind to share your thoughts and suggestions! Thanks a lot..

1. You should request a least month longer than your school year.
2. TRV could be one entry or multi entry, depending on what you apply for. It will just have a date that you have to entry Canada by, and then you would be admitted on a study permit.
3. You apply for an extension of your study permit to Vegreville.
