VISA IS STILL IN PROGRESS, WHY?

i have applied for the VISA on 3rd Nov,2017 from VFS Ahmedabad, But on CIC website my Application is still in progress, all of my friend got the VISA even though they have applied on the same date, please help, when will i get the VISA.

Study permits can take anywhere from a few days to several months to process. What you are experiencing is normal.

Is it easy to immigrate by student visa or should I apply through EE .

Meds submitted 20 nov,

After that no reply from ircc.

Its been 5 weeks after meds submitted.
