Visa got Refused - Need Advice to reapply

Dear All,

I have completed ACCA certification and BSc Hons from Oxford Brookes University in Sep 2017. I applied for MBA Finance in a university in Vancouver. I paid a semester fee deposit and got the LOA, based on which I submitted my visa application from Dubai, UAE. I submitted only the documents required in the checklist.

My visa got refused with following reason;

Upon a complete review of the application, previous academic and employment history and the reasonableness of undertaking the proposed studies in Canada, I am not satisfied you are a bona fide student & would depart Canada at end of authorized stay.

I don't agree with the reason above, as I don't have any educational gap and my proposed degree is in direct relation to my professional career.

I am preparing a cover letter and intend to reapply for visa. Need your advice on the material to highlight in the cover letter.

My husband is running business in UAE, in what way should I mention that in my cover letter and what else is required to be added in order catch VO eye.

Try more strong sop with detail of reason to come back to country.....also try to get admission in university

you are right, you should not agree with this reason but it is a common reason for all. The letter that you received is a common format so 99% people receive the same rejection reason. The real notes of the officer are in the caips/gcms notes. You have to order it from caipsgcms.com. Then based on the real notes, you can provide explanation.

I do want to apply for that as well. But as I read on CAIPS website that It may take 5 to 6 weeks for the notes to receive. So, my idea is to apply for CAIPS and reapply for the study visa by adding a cover letter with a response for VO decision at the same time, so may be I get better luck this time. If not, then I will have the CAIPS later to re-apply again. By this way, may be I can avoid being late for winter semester. What do you suggest?

I first applied through an agent who messed up my case by submitting incomplete documents. Then I applied again but had no idea that the agent had messed up the first time so I got rejected again. before going for the third time, some seniors on this forum recommended that I do it myself without agent's help and get a caips report first. I got my caips report and was shocked with few things and then only got to know what the agent had done. Third time was finally successful. The choice is yours whether you dont want to be late for Jan intake which I think you already are. In India, Dec 1st in the deadline for Jan intake. I dont know about your country. get caips first from caipsgcms.com

CIAPS is the best option.
Though no reference to language or home ties is made in your rejection letter, it’s is better to have complete notes of visa officer.
Also the reasonableness of previous academics and proposed course questioned by VO needs further clarification as to what led him to this

Canada West is a for profit university. I assume you are applying because you want PGWP. You should apply to a public institution because most private colleges and universities don't qualify for PGWP.
