Visa for wife

Hello,

I have a question, my wife is going to New York with a US visitor's visa in April and she wants come to Canada and see me. Of course I will apply for sponsorship for her but I want her to come to Canada so we can see each other. I will probably not make it to NY do to work related issues. Now can we applied for a Temp. visa through the Buffalo office so she could come to Canada? If she does get it, could I just applied for inland sponsorship so she can stay with me anyways? or is this not possible??

While technically it is possible for her to stay with you, it is likely that a TRV would be refused.

You may be better off meeting in he USA.

But yes, she would be able to apply for the TRV through a consulate in the US. Whether she gets it or not is another story.
