Visa Extension

Hello,

May seem like a silly question but I just need to double check.....
Myself and my partner are applying to have our current visas extended and we are doing it online. I just need to know if the signature part at the bottom can be typed like the rest of the form or do I need to print it, sign it and scan it back in?
I only ask as when you usually do an e signature there is typically something on the form to state that you agree to signing it electronically but on this I can't see anything.

Any help would be appreciated.

You plan to extend visas or permits?
Visas are in passport, while permits are separate.

Are you applying from inside of Canada?

Hello,

Yes. I'm am currently on a visitor record ( got taken off a work permit due to change in truckers work class unfortunately) and my partner has an lmia based work permit
