Hi, everybody
I just have a question about my case.
I'm holding a visitor visa which lasts for 6 months and I'm planning to get married with my bf who is Canadian now. If I go with Outland sponsorship, can I do an extension for my visitor visa? As you know, the processing time is super long that I'm afraid I don't have enough time.
You know what is the processing time for Outland sponsorship if I'm in Canada? My home country is Vietnam
Thanks so much..

yes, you can apply for an extension of your visitor visa no matter if you're applying for PR or not. one thing has nothing to do with the other.

Thanks for your reply.
if I apply to extend my visitor visa with the reason I'm planning to get married, is it possible or not?
I'm not sure if I can organize my wedding properly before my visitor visa expired..
If yes, what can I prove?

you don't have to tell that you wanna renew your visitor visa to get married in Canada.
you can simply tell that you wanna stay/ travel in Canada etc. (general reasons for extending visitor visa)
you would not have any problem to extend your visitor visa.
