My student visa was denied yesterday and want to apply again and add an SOP does anyone have an SOP format.

What was the reason for your visa denial?

reason : Not satisfied that i can support myself in Canada without working.
I am assuming they didn't agree to take into consideration that i will get my pension fund and provident fund money when i resign.
i sent a copy of the funds and bank statement, together that addded up to 33K CAD. so now i want try and apply again with bank statement with all funds in my bank account.

I would strongly recommend you to apply with a study loan, it is their most preferred option

GTO - I waited for 4 months before they rejected me, money in my account has accumulated since the time i applied, wont that make a difference?

I was denied on my first application for financial reasons too. What I did was provide more financial proofs and then my visa was approved!

Good luck! :)

You should mature ur bank statement for atleast four months then apply again you will get it and show some proofs too. For instance, show pay slips of your sponsor or pay slips of ur parents as well show them properties if you or your parents have.

Thank you everyone. i would apply again next week. hopefully i get a response before January.

I would like you to post your full profile and proposed program with tution fee

computer science undergrad, tuition $14,000, and living costs $10,000 i have 2 dependants and i think they need $7,000.

the official was not satisfied that i could maintain myself and any dependants without working in canada.

You need to show much more if you have dependants

dependants, will they accompany you to Canada?

yes they will accompany me.
I have $34,000 in my bank account right now, and about $11,000 as my retirement and provident fund payout when i resign.
