Hey everyone!

We found out yesterday when picking up our passport at the VAC in Guatemala City that my boyfriend was granted a multiple entry visa for 3 years!! We are so excited!

I wanted to share this to possibly help some of you and also to say that, yes CIC can be complicated and the application process can be long and confusing, but if you give them the information that they need and make a good case for yourself, you will get approved. I admit I became very skeptical and discouraged at times during this process but we pulled through and got very positive results!

I don't know how it works in other countries, but if some of you have questions specific to Central America I might be able to help. Our case was in no way exceptional (my boyfriend is not a millionaire or anything like that), we are just regular people with regular jobs and managed to get approved, it's possible people! Don't give up :)

Now I need some clarifications on this multiple entry visa (which we did not apply for btw!). It is valid until May 2018 and I want to know how it works. From what I gather, he can be in Canada for up to 6 months each time, yes? Is there a minimum of days he needs to be AWAY from Canada before coming back again? Thanks everyone for your help! And feel free to ask me anything :)
