Hi guys,

I got student VISA on End of July valid with multiple entries to August 2014, My current admission will start in September, looking to short time to leave my work and difficulties to find flight with acceptable price in this time, i planed to defer my admission to January 2014.

1. Do you think i will get a problem with the airport officer when i show different dates on my acceptance latter , not matching their database.

2. I planed to arrive on med November 2013, while my term will start on January 2014, do you think i will get any problem (arrive 2 months earlier).

Please help, if there is any negative consequences might cause, still can catch flight with triple price.. i really dont wont gamble with my VISA.

I think it won't. But you have to give good reason why you deferred.

I think it can create a problem leaving that early if you think to go other province than the college or stay with a relative in Canada. They might shorten the visa but they will restore it when you have joined started the college.

Good to know the information helped you.

Dear Nasa2n2,
I'm facing similar situation as you, could you please inform me about the result of your own? Did you defer your admission? Did you face any problem at the airport in Canada regarding your study permit?

Nasa2n2 has already written that s/he want to defer studies to January intake. He can share info on deferral but not on experience at the airport, as s/he simply has not flied to Canada yet.
