I'm sponsoring my partner for a visa. I have a few questions.

1) Do both of us need to write a support cover letter or is just one sufficient?
2) Do phone bills/bank statements etc for support of relationship (same address etc) need to be translated to English? Or only official things like birth certificate/police letter need to be translated?

1. You don't need a cover letter.

2. Yes, relationship proofs need to be translated. You can do it yourself, as only official proofs must be formally translated.
