I'm currently getting together all my documents before applying for a federal skilled visa. I'm from the United Kingdom and lived in Australia for 7 months so I'm aware I need get a criminal check and full driver history check. When I got the paperwork through for the driver history check I saw that I had additional infringements such as parking fines, disobeying traffic signals and speeding. I'm aware of one these (speeding) and paid it when I was out there. The other offences have all happened since I've left the country! The person who I sold the car to didn't get the plates changes so the car is still in my name. I'm currently trying to resolve this but it's a long drawn out process. So currently it looks like I have unpaid fines in Australia of nearly 1000 Australian dollars.
Should I wait until this is resolved which could take 3 months or should I go ahead with the application?
