Visa And Return Flight

So in May I received my two year IEC visa (pending interview at the airport).

I'm looking to book flights in January to Toronto.

Now it's 200 euro cheaper if I book a round trip that says I'm only staying for two days instead of booking a one way flight or a return flight for later in the year.

Only now I'm wondering would this look suspicious to the officials on the border? Would they have a problem with this if I just say I got a good deal on the flights?

It doesn't matter. You are fine booking a return flight.
