VFS London - PRTD HELP!!!

Hi All,

I am currently in UK, need to be in Canada for 9th April and need a PRTD as I do not have a PR card yet.

VFS have said it takes 5 days to process but have said it in the following way:

'With regards to your Email query, if you wish you may apply for your Travel Document either in person or mail the application to our office. The processing time for a Travel Document is 5 working days and it depends on the High Commission.'

Does this mean that it takes 5 days for them to process, plus what ever time the high commission take? e.g 2 -3 weeks? as this is cutting it fine. Anyone with any knowledge on PRTD timelines at London currently? Cheers

Did you ever get a resolution to this. I think I may have to go through them for a PRTD at some point since it seems as though they exclusively handle PRTD applications in the UK.

PRTD’s?
