Hi.
I applied to Refugee status and then pr, I got my PR recently and I’m planning to meet my fiancé in a third country because she’s from my home country and we’re planning to get married so I can sponsorship her and bring her with me here to Canada.

what documents should I take with me and how can I be prepared to do so? And as I can’t contact my embassy where to submit my marriage documents? Coz my RTD is expiring soon and I have to do everything very quickly.

I will highly appreciate your help and that means a lot to me.

thanks

You need to read through the spousal sponsorship documents and collect all the necessary marriage documentation based on your religion and culture. It will likely take quite a long time before your wife can join you in Canada. She should try to apply for a TRV before you get married especially if she has a good job, has travelled internationally before, has her own savings/property, etc. although getting a visa from some countries will be very difficult. Due to covid international travel is not advised and may not be possible.
