So i got an invitation for a citizenship interview this month.

All went well until I realized that I forgot to mention a part time sunday school teacher position that I held on my employment section. It was genuinely an accidental mistake. I told my lawyer I will e-mail her the dates i held that job when i’m back from the army. I don’t hold the sunday school job anymore, and did declare it on my previous tax years so it’s obviously clear i’m not trying to hide it.

It also said in the email to bring all original papers i used with my application, but I am not able to locate my original police check from my birth country, only the copied version.

Im just really scared guys, will they deny my application based on this? Is there a way i can talk to them during my interview and explain that I forgot to add the job by accident?

Thank you!

Relax, IRCC isn't in the business of denying applications for small details.
If you forgot something, you can send a webform to correct it, and if you no longer have a document, just have a copy if you have one, or simply don't even mention it and if asked for it, say the truth. If IRCC wants to see a new PCC, they'll ask for it and that's all...
Also, you have a lawyer, it's better to direct these question to her, she knows better and I'm sure she'll tell you not to worry.

I've seen many people who got the in-person interview requests, and let me tell you, don't worry too much about it if everything is correct on your end. They would ask you some questions about your application, test your language skills (by doing the interview), etc. I think you can mention that job, as it was not intentional that you hid it initially.

Best of luck to you, keep us posted here on how it goes!
