Ok so i'm working on IMM 5481. My net personal income..is that line 150 on the tax return?
Also my net personal income (question 3) they want dates for the 12 month period. Do i just use my 2009 tax return??And if so what dates do i put in...i'm not sure when the tax year strts and ends. tia

But those aren't the dates they're asking for. They want a figure for your net personal income for the 12 months preceding the submission of the application. Remember, there is no minimum income requirement for spousal sponsorships - in fact, it's doubtful that they even look at the answer to that question when assessing a spousal ap as that particular form is a generic one that's also used for applications that are subject to minimum income requirements. So don't stress it. Just average your net income over the previous 12 months and write in that amount.

Ours will be mailed out about August 1st-ish. (End of July/early August). Do you think July 1 2009 to July 1 2010 is good? Or is it supposed to be the end of July?

And we have $xx,xxx (no cents)... ?

I just wanted to bump this up again because I have a Sponsorship Evaluation sheet saying July 1 2009 to July 1 2010 and the application will be mailed end of July/early August. They will recieve it early August most likely. Does that sound about right? They say "from date of submission" but my submission may be end of July...

I did from June 2009 to June 2010, and we submitted in July. I figure they won't even look at it until August, most likely, so a month here or there won't much matter, as long ,as another poster said, you didn't just put your 2009 tax figure in there.

I did submit an explanation of the way I averaged my income, since I am currently unemployed.

I did May 2009 to April 2010 and submitted it mid May 2010.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. July to July should be fine. And yes, it's just a dollar amount, cents aren't needed.
