any body plz tell who gone thru sum same sort of exp.

The visa officer can call ur previous employer to confirm employment and job duties. In case of that call and ur previous employer not fully supporting ur employment status/ details, you can always give explanation that beacuse of you leaving the job the previous employer got frustrated and is not providing correct details.

Dear Explorer,
What are the chances in this case will the VO go in favour of the applicant???

Hi Nicholas,

Your query is very apt and worrisome for such candidates.

IMO, the VO must not make any adverse decision based on the fact that the candidate was not in good terms with the employer. It is not necessary that all Employee-Employer relationship should be good.....had that been the situation then no one would have got fired or left the job for a better one. What is imp for the VO to judge is whether the candidate has performed the duties; and in such situation the candidate should provide as much as possible information related to his achievements. But if its the only job that accounts for points then its totally at VO's discretion to award eligibility.

Honestly no one can be sure. It all depends on what the boss says, when contacted. If he denies totally that you even worked there, or about your duties etc.. I dont know what will be the implications. It will depend on case to case basis and also the Visa officer.

The best thing to do is include a detailed letter in such cases, so that the Visa officer has a clear view, before calling or contacting. Other than that what else can one do? Pretty much nothing.

Best of Luck,

Hi Romerio,

Visa offices perform employment verfication checks during the document background checking stage of processing. They don't always actually contact the employer, it depends how convincing your references are.

If they are unconvinced by the references they will contact the employer to confirm, but also I believe they perform a small percentage of random spotchecks in addition to this to act as a deterrant for fraud.

So you should prepare yourself that your current or previous employers being contacted is at least a possibility.

Wayne.

dear romerio,

they usually go for the first one. if they r not satisfied with your supporting documents, they even go for previous organization.
