Hello Everyone,
I am Permanent Resident living in Canada for few years now and i am eligible to apply for Citizenship anytime now but in order for me to apply they are requesting me to provide Proof of Landing which i lost it somewhere without knowing the importance of this document and i feel ashamed of it (Don't even have a soft copy) but i applied for Verification of Status (IMM 5009) around 6 months before as they don't provide us Proof of Landing document anymore as per my knowledge. After i mailed in the application i did not hear anything from IRCC and they did not send me an Application Number or anything and i am unable to check the status online as well as there is no documents under my name online. I emailed the IRCC office couple days back and it does not seem like of any help and i tried calling the IRCC office @ 1-888-242-2100 and i cannot get through to talk to an agent. I am stuck here and don't have any clue what am i supposed to do now? Not even sure if the office has my application and working on it or something. Please help me here and your time is much appreciated.
