Verification of Offer Letter and Payment Made against First step of Immigration (Express Entry Application approved from Federal Service Canada ?)

Dear VIP members and Moderators, I have a sincere request for your kind review and advise on the offer letter received by me after an interview, scheduled by Consultant and interview taken by Employer.

The details follow as:

I received a handsome salary offer with full benefits based on my experience of 19 years in industry. There is website available for Employer who claims to be the one of the leading employer of Canada and North America. They asked relevant documents and passport copy to obtain First Stage approval stating that “As discussed, we have submitted your Express Entry profile under Federal Skilled Worker and it is accepted for the immigration process. Congratulations!

Your Express Entry profile acceptance has been shared on WhatsApp.

We have initiated the process from our side. You are requested to submit the fee ($1,282 CAD equivalent to $1,000 USD) so we can start the first step of Federal Skilled Worker.”

I sent the funds (USD 1000) to their account (in USA as advised ) and they reverted within a week time with a letter (via Legal consultant – to whom the Employer introduced me) stating that “on successfully completing the first phase of the process. My duty is to provide you with a smooth process and services throughout your immigration process. Furthermore, since your Express Entry Application has been approved from Federal Service Canada, we shall now be going ahead to process for your LMIA itself along with the Permanent Residency Application for you and your family”

Now they are asking money for LMIA and PR process as follows:

“Total Fee Applicable on you (including yourself, your wife and 2 kids): $4,250 CAD

The next approval of LMIA will take 15 – 20 working days.

Note: Payments of $1040CAD + $1040CAD + $1000CAD + $450CAD and $710CAD must be equivalent to $4,250 CAD Dollars ($3,415 USD) Only. Kindly, send me the online transfer receipt of $3,415 USD so I can process and apply for your Permanent Residency Application and Labor Market Impact Assessment accordingly.

Kindly process the fee of $3,415 USD to same account details for next step”.

I have humble request to the people having knowledge about such matters and if you can advise on priority basis whether or not these employer, recruiter, process are genuine. Your effort and time in reading and replying are very much appreciated.

So fake. Why would you pay them that much money in USD. Putting in a profile for Express Entry - FSW is free. You can do it yourself but you must have IELTS and ECAs. LMIAS are $1000 Cdn and the employer must pay it. You can’t get PR and LMIA at the same time. You will not see the $100. Apply to Express Entry on your own for free.
