I am a legal resident of the USA currently living and working near the US/Canadian border on the USA side.
I am also a family class permanent resident of Canada where my wife is a citizen and I reside.
I am exporting my vehicle from the USA and importing the vehicle into Canada.
The question is: After I pick up my export title from US customs and enter Canada, can I commute with my vehicle across the border for work while finalizing the RIV / Transport Canada / Registration process which appears likely to take several weeks.
The car will still be insured by my US insurance company and will still have current US plates.
I'm hopeful that someone else on the forums would have encountered the same issue and share their insights.
