Validity Of stay in Canada after resigning

Hi,

My WP is valid till August 2011, if I resign from current employer, can I stay till this validity date? also, can I transfer this WP to new employer?

yap,,but be sure to find another employer who can apply another lmo for u then apply for a new work permit before your current work permit expire
