they have recently announced that IELTS will be valid for 2 years, but not sure this rule is applicable from the date of announcement or it will be applicable for old candidates as well.

EFFECTIVE December 23, 2010: If you are submitting a language test with your application, the results are now valid for 2 years from the time you took the test, instead of 1 year. Now IELTS is valid for two years any two years at the time of application it is clearly mentioned at checklist form so dont be worried about it
