Hi everyone! I was wondering what will be validity / duration of the initial PR card (spouse category) 2 yrs or 5 yrs??

New rules say that: " ... conditional permanent residence, you must live together with your sponsor in a legitimate relationship for two years from the day you receive conditional permanent residence. The condition ends after the two-year period."

So, will the PR Card that I'll receive be valid 'initially' only for 2 yrs AND
will it state that on the card that its a 'Conditional PR' ???

Thanks in advance.

5 years and I believe that the card will not have any conditions on it. Your COPR and your CIC records will, obviously IF Condition 51 applies to you.

What I understand is the card is valid for 5 years but if you do not respect this rule, then after 5 years even if you had completed the requirements like 730 days, you will not get a new PR card or even if you have fulfilled the time requirement for citizenship like 4 years in that 5 year period, there will be no chance. It is my assumption though.

You assume wrong... There is no such rule and your understanding of "Condition 51" is incorrect. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/bulletins/2012/ob480.asp
