Hey folks,

Is there any problem when I'm applying for my PR if I have a valid visa but my passport does not reflect that?

It's just that when I finished my studying I applied to PGWP and they never asked for my passport so, I have my visa but my passport still have only the student stamp on it.

I'm waiting for my exams and police certificate so, I still have time to act if needed.

Thanks in advance!

Your question is confusing, your visa may be approved but you cannot enter the country without the Visa stamp on passport

I think that should be fine. The conversion happened in Canada, so you will not have a separate stamp for it.

you are confused between the two terms: visa vs permit. What you are holding is permit which imply your status in Canada. It has little thing to do with the visa which is the entry ticket to go in an out of a country.
