valid reason for not sending an OPTION C

hola!

just a quick question for our seniors here.


if I will send the letter instead of an option C do I still need to attached the pay slips? and I know I will only attached T4 and I am just wondering if also the pay stubs are included? ( PS I don't have a child/dependent)

If you worked in Canada and filed taxes, there's no valid reason for not sending in the Option C. It is a requirement, per the Document Checklist.

It takes a couple of weeks to receive in the mail. If you fail to include it with the application, it's possible that everything will be returned.


Now...if you did not work and therefore wouldn't even have an Option C available to you from Revenue Canada...that would be a valid reason.

Thank you very much I requested 2x already and at first they gave me the wrong taxation year and second request I did not received it yet. I am waiting for almost 15 days now.

I saw an option C in their website at 'Tax Return' tab. is that okay to submit?

I honestly don't know, but if it is the same form (RC143 E), it might be ok. Everyone that I know of had to wait for it to arrive by mail.

Maybe it will show up tomorrow.
