Vacation to India - Uncertain Abt the Size Changes

Hi there,

I recently became a PR and soon would be going to India for a vacation.

Among other things, I am looking at buying some shoes and clothes (shirts, pants, etc) from here in Canada for my dad in India.

I know there's a size difference between the Canadian standard and the Indian standard but my current google research indicates that the size difference for shoes is an extra 0.5 inch for Canada (eg. if it's 10.5 in India, it's 11 inch in Canada).

Is this accurate? Also any perspective on what's the size difference for clothes (still researching at the moment)?
