Hey I should hopefully be getting my old paper based system PNP nomination soon.

I was wondering if it is possible to use this for an express entry profile to give me an extra 600 points? For example using the PNP nomination for EE CEC.

Does anyone know if this is allowed?

Your post history suggests you'll be nominated by Ontario/job offer stream. I highly doubt they allow this. A province's base nomination streams (paper-based) are usually different and separate from the enhanced nomination streams allotted for Express Entry. Different qualifications, different quotas, etc.

You're free to lodge a parallel Express Entry application, but you can't gain the 600 points, as the province itself has to send the nomination electronically to add the points. Unless OINP announces a sudden change in rules, they will not do that for you if you applied for a base nomination.

The benefit of your paper-based nomination is that you can use it to apply for a work permit.
